L. Flynn, MS, PhD Candidate
L. Flynn, MS MIS, is a Human Systems Engineer and PhD Candidate known for her innovative and strategic use of Intelligence Augmentation. With a background in launching tech startups and serving in C-suite roles, Flynn combines expertise in information systems, business models, psychology, marketing, and entrepreneurship to advance cognitive security. Currently, Flynn leads research at Catalysts & Canaries with a focus in Human-AI Integrated Systems Engineering. She also facilitates our HOP and SCIP events, driving the development of AI-enhanced methodologies to address critical gaps in the workforce pipeline. In addition to her professional work, Flynn contributes to counter-terrorism coalitions, reflecting her commitment to societal impact and ability to navigate complex, cross-cultural environments. She is at the forefront of developing the future security workforce through technology and human system dynamics.
Social Psychologist, Digital Persuasion Specialist
R. Guadagno, PhD
Associate Professor, Expert in Social Influence and Digital Persuasion Rosanna Guadagno, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Persuasive Information Systems at the University of Oulu, Finland. Known for her work on social influence and persuasion in digital environments, she has over 130 publications to her name. Currently, Dr. Guadagno serves as the Specialty Chief Editor in Media Psychology for Frontiers in Psychology, guiding critical research in the field. Her forthcoming book, “Psychological Processes in Social Media: Why We Click,” explores the psychological mechanisms behind online interactions. Previously, Dr. Guadagno taught at Stanford University and directed the Information Warfare Working Group, where she contributed to understanding and combating digital misinformation. Through her academic and editorial work, Dr. Guadagno aims to deepen the understanding of persuasive information systems and enhance strategies for effective communication in digital spaces.

J. Barker, PhD, MBE
Dr Jessica Barker MBE is a best-selling author and international keynote speaker. An award-winning leader in the human side of cyber security, she has delivered face-to-face awareness sessions to over 70,000 people in over 25 countries. She is the go-to cyber expert for media including the BBC, Sky News and Wired magazine - and has commented on cyber security issues for TV and radio over 100 times. Jessica has delivered over 80 keynotes, including NATO, the World Government Summit, RSA, Gartner and Arm. Her speaking engagements bring the sociology and psychology of cyber security to life. She serves on numerous industry boards, including the UK Government Cyber Security Board. In June 2023, Jessica was awarded an MBE for services to cyber security by King Charles III in his first Birthday Honours. Known for her ability to engage everyone from senior executives to ethical hackers, she brings energy, enthusiasm, and fun to cyber security. Myisha T. Hill is a transformative justice advocate and social impact leader, celebrated for her pioneering work in nonviolent communication and community healing. With a deep commitment to dismantling systemic oppression and fostering inclusive communities, Hill integrates her expertise in racial equity, mental health advocacy, and restorative practices to inspire meaningful change. Currently, Hill leads Check Your Privilege, a global movement dedicated to educating and empowering individuals on their journey toward liberation. She leverages artificial intelligence through tools like the empathy chatbot to help people connect with nonviolent communication and practice empathy at any time. By integrating AI with mindfulness techniques, Hill enables individuals to deepen their self-awareness and engage more effectively with their communities. Her work emphasizes the importance of relational leadership and emotional intelligence as tools for personal and societal transformation. Global Trauma Surgeon, AI in Healthcare
M. Pratt, MD
Malerie Pratt, MD, completed her Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 2024, recognized for her dedication to advancing medical education and healthcare. With a rich background in general surgery and extensive experience in global health initiatives, Dr. Pratt is committed to improving medical practices and outcomes both domestically and internationally. Currently, Dr. Pratt co-leads the VIMA LUPWA HOMES, a nonprofit organization she co-founded in Zambia, which focuses on healthcare and community development. Her global health efforts include roles as a Health Outreach Coordinator in Uganda and a Hospital Sanitation Coordinator in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, reflecting her deep commitment to global health. Prior to her fellowship, Dr. Pratt completed her General Surgery Residency at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, where she honed her skills in surgery and patient care. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Pratt’s lab (in creation) will utilize AI extensively in workforce development in war-torn countries, integrating cutting-edge technology to help train child soldiers in medicine, giving them a choice for dignified employment, demostrating her passion for humanitarian efforts.

M. Gordin, MS Cybersecurity, is a dedicated cybersecurity professional with a strong technical background in computer science. Gordin excels in bridging technical expertise with strategic project management. As a Project Manager at Catalysts & Canaries, Gordin leads multidisciplinary teams in enhancing security operations and policy development. His responsibilities also include developing activities for our HOP and SCIP events, tailored specifically to address our clients' needs through effective design and execution. He also implements programming solutions for our clients' projects, such as dashboards for streamlining data analysis of security events. Gordin is passionate about using technology to solve complex problems and advance security operations. With expertise in various programming languages, cybersecurity tools, and generative AI, he is eager to collaborate on innovative projects that drive the cybersecurity field forward.

E. Ehimare, MS
E. Ehimare is a skilled cybersecurity professional with a MS in Cybersecurity and an accounting background. He combines expertise in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) with strong analytical skills from his accounting experience, adding unique value to our project teams. As an Analyst at Catalysts & Canaries, Ehimare contributes to various projects by integrating his knowledge of GRC and accounting to enhance security strategies and operations. His role involves supporting HOP and SCIP events, helping to develop and implement effective security plans for our clients. Shaabani's architectural background has equipped her with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a meticulous approach to design and system visualization. L. Slobodsky, MBA in Human Resources, is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and HR lifecycle management. Slobodsky excels at optimizing processes and implementing innovative solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness. As a Process & People Coordinator at Catalysts & Canaries, Slobodsky spearheaded HR lifecycle processes, managing recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention. Additionally, Slobodsky led the Recruitment Services program and supported various business processes, showcasing exceptional leadership and organizational development skills. Slobodsky is passionate about leveraging data analytics, diversity, equity, inclusion, and AI to drive meaningful organizational growth. With expertise in HR lifecycle management, program development, and stakeholder engagement, Slobodsky is eager to contribute to innovative projects that enhance workforce development and operational efficiency.
UX/UI Designer
T. Odukale
T. Odukale is a User Experience (UX) designer who believes in putting users’ needs first, and she does this by focusing on data-driven problem-solving. Her goal as a UX designer is to contribute to a world of inclusive and beautifully designed user experiences that positively impact the lives of all who encounter them. Odukale’s B.A. in Psychology has provided her with strong research, critical thinking and data analysis skills which have equipped her with the tools to develop a unique understanding of users needs and have ensured that a user-centric approach is utilized on all projects she works on. As a UX designer at Catalysts & Canaries, Odukale has contributed to an overhaul of the website to improve the user experience as well as Catalysts & Canaries brand positioning. With proficiency in various software including Figma, Adobe XD, Miro and Adobe Photoshop, she is eager to work on innovative projects that will help her achieve her goal as a UX designer.
